Juniors at Kansai Karate Gold Coast is a karate program for children aged 8 to 12, based at Upper Coomera QLD 4209. We run separate Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced classes, so your child trains at the right level from day one rather than being placed in a one-size-fits-all group. Classes cover kata (forms), kihon (basics), and kumite (sparring), taught by Sensei Michael Hunt — 5th Dan Shitoryu Shukokai. The program runs Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, convenient for families in Upper Coomera, Coomera, Pimpama, and the wider northern Gold Coast. Junior students grade for belts every few months and can enter regional and state competitions through our QKA and AKF affiliations.
