Last weekend the Australian Karate Federation (AKF) held the National Championships in sunny Caloundra in Queensland. 7 of our Gold Coast dojo students were selected to represent Queensland at the national competition and have been training with the Queensland (QKA) team over the last few months in preparation for the event.

When Jakob walked into our dojo just over 3 years ago he was a totally shy, hide behind mum, kind of 3 year old. He was too scared to join in the classes without mum, and quickly didn’t want to do the classes at all. Within 6 weeks Jakob had given up karate.
